About The Event

Yuvashakti is quite a familiar name to the enthusiastic youth of Maharashtra. Over 30,000 plus youth have safely and successfully completed various treks in the Sahyadris’ and the Himalayas’ with Yuvashakti in the past 30 years.
 
From our own experience, we have witnessed continuous growth in the number of participants from Maharashtra in general and Pune in particular, in treks across the Himalaya ranging from Nepal to Bhutan and Sikkim to Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. This provided the impetus to further strengthen the image of Maharashtra as an adventure loving state.
True adventure demands a lot of physical and mental fitness. In an attempt to promote fitness, we are organizing a Hill Run at ARAI tekdi on Sunday 7th April 2019.
 
The Fees include: Sports T-Shirt, Timing Chip, Medals and finisher's Medallion, 
E-certificate, En-route Hydration Support, Healthy Breakfast

Terms & Conditions
 
• The Hill Run is open for everybody over 12 years of age.
• The event has been organized for the following categories:
• Male – 5kms and 10 kms and Female – 5kms and 10kms.
• Kindly ensure that you book for the correct category of your choice. No changes or alterations are allowed once the confirmation is received from a participant.
• Winners of each category shall be rewarded with a Special 50% discount on any of the following three treks – Chandrakhani Pass or Bhrigu Lake or Deo Tibba Base Camp trek in the Manali region of Himachal Pradesh. This discount can be availed only till 31st May 2019.
• Participants are expected to be present at the venue 30 minutes prior to their flag off timings.
• The 10km race will be flagged off at 6am and the 5kms race will be flagged of at 6.15am.
• Brisk walking and running involve extreme physical activity. One must be physically fit to participate in such events.
• We recommend all the participants to get themselves examined by a qualified doctor before booking the run.
• All participants are given to understand that you will be participating in this event at your own risk and responsibility. Further, any person authorized by Yuvashakti or on their behalf shall not in any way be liable for any loss, damage, disability or injury sustained or death resulting from this participation in the Yuvashakti Hill Run organized by Yuvashakti, Pune.
• The fees of Rs. 500/- per participant are non – refundable and non – transferable.
• In case if the event is cancelled or modified due to any reason outside the control of Yuvashakti, all such changes would be binding on the participants. Yuvashakti reserves the rights to cancel, modify or alter the Yuvashakti Hill Run, without assigning any reasons.
• Yuvashakti reserves the rights to reject participation without assigning any reason.
• All instructions given from time to time, by the members of the organizing team, shall be followed by the participants.
• Any recordings of the event in which a participant or his / her name appears may be used to publicize such events in future.
