With over 2000+ offering, focus on products which are high on nutritional value and environment friendly

ISHANYA Foundation is back with the 11th edition of The Yellow Ribbon NGO Fair (YRNF) after a successful decade with more than 150 NGOs participating in the fair every year. YRNF 2018 will be inaugurated by country’s notable figure Tina Ambani, Chairperson of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital/Chairperson of Group CSR, Reliance Group on Friday, 5th October 2018.

The four-day fair has a theme of ‘Back to Basics’ symbolizing use of environment friendly products over plastic goods for a sustainable way of living. To support the cause, small scale farmers and tribal farming communities with organic produce will be participating at the fair to bring exotic indigenous variety of fruits, vegetables and grains which are otherwise not available in the local market. The NGOs have been handpicked following specific guidelines to promote save the environment initiative.

Besides farming produce, a varied and unique portfolio of products will be available to the patrons of YRNF which are not only environment friendly but also artistic. From eco-friendly offerings like mud & cow dung flower pots, recycled cloth and jean bags, plates and cases and trays made of bamboo & betel leaves, hand-made jewellery, sarees and dress materials, home décor & accessories, personal use items, products with exquisite designs & hand woven traditional weaves by artisans from across the country to festive gifting items like decorative diya’s, torans, cloth envelopes, etc will be all available under one roof by diverse communities.  For those who are health conscious and are in love with organic harvest can look for purple vegetables, black rice, diabetic honey, moringa powder, turmeric latte, fresh mulberries, cold pressed oils, etc at the fair.
