About The Event

The practice of Yoga disciplines the body, cultivates strength and endurance in each an every cell, generates confidence and develops clarity. While it teaches one to correctly align the left and the right aspects of the body, from the the arms, legs, torso, to the muscles, joints, ligaments, cartilages thus preventing physical disharmony, Yoga also teaches the judicious utilization of the mental capabilities with attentive intelligence.

Yoga works on strength, flexibility, balance, agility, endurance, core, and overall strength, among other things. No amount of weight-lifting with free weights will give you the strength that consistently holding up your own body weight will. Practicing yoga increases flexibility and ease of movement, therefore increasing range of motion. In particular, athletes in sports that require swinging action (tennis, golf, etc.) can benefit greatly. The endurance thatthe ease of yoga gives you lends to endurance sports like running, triathlons, and Iron Mans.
