Suicide is a major concern for many organizations. Statistics from National Crime Records Bureau indicates that approximately 1 person commits suicide every 4 minutes (NCRB data, 2012). In India 1, 35,445 people committed suicide in the year 2012, of which highest rate was amongst young people, employed and professional people with decent income.
Most of the organizations have attempted to address this issue as an employee suicide attempt within the organization is a significant worry. It has an adverse effect on the morale, well-being of the employee and affects the reputation of the organization.
