Payment Card Industry (PCI) - Data Security Standards (DSS) are set of security standards created to protect credit and debit card data. These standards were created to increase controls around cardholder data to reduce card frauds. Validation of compliance are performed periodically by an external Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) or by a firm specific Internal Security Assessor (ISA) that creates a Report on Compliance for organizations.
This workshop focuses on understanding the security requirements, controls implementation, monitoring and auditing.

About Speaker
Ganesan Ramani (Ganesh) is an Assistant Vice President - Risk Management, Technololgy compliance & BCM with DBS Asia Hub 2 Private Limited(DBS Bank,Singapore). He comes with more than 12 years of experience in Information Security consulting/auditing, Technology Governance & Digital Forensics.
Ganesh has rich experience in Banking & Telecom industries and have worked with top banks and telecom companies in US,UK & APAC regions. He specializes in reviewing IT security architectures, managing incident responses, implementing security & forensics controls.
He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager(CISM), ISO27001:2013 LA, ITIL and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications.
Ganesh had worked with Standard Chartered Bank, IBM Global Business Services, Wipro Technologies & CSS Corporation in his professional career in various capacities of security consulting. He has done his Bachelor of Computer Science & Engineering from Anna University, Chennai & Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber laws from Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad.
He is also currently serving as Research Director of ISACA Hyderabad Chapter and member of ISC2, BCI & DSCI Chapters.
