Semat presents a 2 day workshop on cracking Group Discussions and Personal Interviews – exclusively for MBA aspirants.
The workshop covers basic lessons on GDPI preparation followed by rigorous practice sessions and individual feedback by experienced industry professionals. We will conduct multiple mock sessions with current GD topics and also help you with group discussion tips.
Workshop Modules:
1. Group Discussion – Modeled on actual group discussion formats used by Top Bschools, we take you through the fundamentals - right from understanding selection parameters, to differentiating yourself from the group with your powerful ideas and right mindset as a team player and leader. We will cover both content as well as case study based GDs to give you enough practice and feedback before the actual event. We help you with Group discussion tips, current GD topics, GD topics for top MBA colleges.
2. Interview Preparation – We teach you how to create a lasting impression in the first few minutes of the interview using the 3 minute rule. An interview is a crucial conversation intended to assess the overall personality, clarity of thought and communication skills of the candidate. We prepare you better through pre-interview self-introspection drills, practice interviews and individual feedback.
3. Group Task – An additional round of selection commonly used by some Bschools, GT involves a task assigned to a group to assess the candidates’ ability to work in a team environment. We simulate Group Tasks at Semat to help you shine through this round.
4. Power Dressing and Grooming – This module covers everything you need to package yourself as a confident individual – from personal grooming(wardrobe, body posture and non-verbal cues) to basic GD/PI etiquette.
