Women Entrepreneurs Offsite: Savvy Divas Retreat to Shekhawati

The objective of Networking is not selling, but creating long term relationships that are mutually beneficial. Hence it’s time for savvy divas to head out on their own, for a networking off-site exclusively for women entrepreneurs (Divas bonded by Common Tastes but are Uncommon Women) curated by TiE Delhi-NCR Travel & Women Entrepreneurs SIGs in partnership with Gurgaon Moms and Kunzum Travel Truck to learn from each other, form bond, get peer support and along with have loads of fun. We will be headed to Shekhawati in Rajasthan from November 10 - 12, 2017

Why Shekhawati?

Old world business principles in the new age - Shekhawati is the ancestral home to some of the most influential Marwari business families of India. They have mostly moved out but still own havelis and property in the region. These families have thrived in the new age too - but continue to follow old world business principles for generations. Participants will deliberate upon the value of such timeless wisdom in current business models and practices.

Activities

The following are being planned during the tour - the exact itinerary will be finalized closer to the date of travel.

• Structured Networking where participants interact to derive value from one another.
• Best Travelogue Competition where we group the participants in teams for an account of their trip to Shekhawati
• Guided tour of some towns in Shekhawati including Mahansar, Fatehpur, Ramgarh and Mandawa where you will visit old havelis with their frescos and exquisite doors and windows, temples, historical structures, local craftsmen and traditional bazaars.
• Sundowner on sand dunes over high tea and camel cart rides.
• Folk Dance Evening with dinner and bonfire.
• Traditional Rajasthani Lunch

Travel, accommodation and pricing info

We travel to Shekhawati in the luxurious Kunzum Travel Truck, a startup run by TiE Charter member and also a partner in this program. In your entire journey you will be accompanied and taken care by senior staff members of TiE, Gurgaon Moms and Kunzum. The proposed itinerary is:

• Departure from New Delhi: 6:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017
• Return to Delhi: 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12, 2017

Accommodation: Mandawa Haveli, Mandawa, Shekhawati, Rajasthan
Cost Per Person: Rs. 15,000 (Early Bird if you book by Sept 30th); Rs. 16,000 (for bookings received from October 1st onwards) includes currently applicable GST

Inclusions: Transportation in Kunzum Travel Truck, accommodation on twin / triple sharing basis, lunch x 2, dinner x 2, breakfast x 2, sundowner high tea x 2 and activities listed.
