Once a private hunting lodge of the Maharaja of Mysore and the British viceroys, Kabini is located on the banks of the Kabini River. Presently it is considered to be one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka, well-known for its stunning wildlife and bird life. It has easy accessibility, scenic green background surrounding a large charming lake, and unbelievable sightings of large herds of elephants and other wild animals.

Depart Bangalore at 7 AM, (pick up point will be notified a week prior to the trip)
Stop for brunch on the way between Bangalore and Mysore (at your own cost)
Arrive at the resort by 2 pm, after a short refreshment, we start off on the first Safari drives.

Early morning second safari drive and visit to the Tibetan monastery of Gurupura
29 Sept, 2013
Enjoy a lazy breakfast and chill or plan to take an optional extra safari. Post lunch we head back to Bangalore for a late evening arrival at the same point we started.
Trip cost: Rs. 10,000 per person.
