ABOUT THE EVENT

WHITEFIELD AREA COMMERCE & INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION, 40-J, Opp. NGEF Estate, GBIA Road, Mahadevapura P.O., Bangalore – 560 048 is organizing the “Engineering Expo and Vendor Development Meet” for all the industries to showcase their industry products and services, for the benefit of industries located within and outside the state on 11th and 12th January 2013, at KTPO, Whitefield, Bangalore. It will also open up avenues for industries to get recognized both in Karnataka and other parts of the country. This is going to be a Mega Event with a large number of public sector undertakings, national undertakings, banks, MSME sector, and other industries showcasing their products, for which around 200 stalls of different sizes are planned.

The SMEs in and around Whitefield industrial clusters have an excellent enterprise and manufacture critical components, assemblies and spares etc., catering to the stringent guidelines for quality products laid down by many Indian and Global companies in industries pertaining to Automotive, Defense, Space, Atomic Energy, IT/ITES, and Communication. In addition to high level of skill and capabilities in various sectors / segments of industrial production facilities, they also have requisite infrastructure in many high-tech areas.

The main focus of the event would be to exploit the business opportunities available among the member industries and others. The “Engineering Expo and Vendor Development Meet” is supported both by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, and the Department of Commerce and Industries, Government of Karnataka.
