VISCOM weekend workshop:

We are living in times where, we are being bombarded by visual information from all sides. Visual communication is the in thing today because, now a day’s people barely have the time to read and know information. They just watch very short visuals and grab the information on the go. Chennai’s Visualite is conducting this VISCOM workshop in order to give a complete overview of the visual communication industry. This workshop will help students analyze and understand visuals in order to create effective visuals in turn.

Topics that will be discussed in the workshop:

-          Introduction to visual communication

-          Importance of visuals in the digital era

-          Sender and receiver

-          Decoding and encoding messages

-          Drawing

-          Introduction to graphic designing

-          Basic photography

Eligibility criteria:

All those who wish to join this workshop need to be passionate about Visual communication. There are no restrictions based on age, gender, educational qualification and prior work experience.

Requirements:

All students are expected to bring their own stationery items for writing purposes.
