Visapur Fort of Lonavala was built during the early 18th century by Balaji Vishwanath and now famous as trekking destination for adventurers as well as nature lovers.

This fort is located near Lonavala with an altitude of 3556 feet and offers a majestic view. The trail leading towards the fort is of medium difficulty and while trekking one can see a lush green beauty, which is spread across surrounding forests. Post monsoon season is one of the better times to trek this fort with moderate weather and greenery all around.

After reaching the fort, one can explore caves, a water tank and temples. You can also take cool photos with the beautiful backdrop of the valley.

Schedule:

✔ Reach Lonavala railway station and meet Trek Lead at the exit gate
✔ Get on the Jeep and head towards base of Visapur fort
✔ Fuel up for the trek with nice breakfast
✔ Start trekking towards Visapur fort
✔ Reach the top of the fort, explore caves, water tank and temples
✔ Relax for a while
✔ Start descending and have lunch at the base village
✔ Head back towards Lonavala railway station and board your respective trains
✔ Reach home by late evening and share your small little Visapur Fort weekend getaway trek experience with friends and family :)

Cancellation and Refund policy:

Cancellation by Organizer (Muddie Trails):

• Muddie Trails may decide to cancel the event if there are less than 8 travelers signed up for the trip/trek
• The organizers will inform you about the cancellation 24 hours before the event start time so that you have enough time to make an alternate plan
• In this case, the full amount will be refunded.
• Alternatively, you can also choose to postpone your ticket to the future event or switch to another event by Muddie Trails.

Cancellation by you (The traveler):

• The Organizers have to be informed 48 hours before the event start time if you wish to cancel your event
• In this case, the refund would be processed as per “Refund Policy“
• Alternatively, you may postpone your ticket to future event 48 hours before the event start time
• No postponing your ticket to future events and no refund within 48 hours of event start time
• You may provide a replacement from your end (your friend, colleague or any other) in case you cannot make it to the event because of unforeseen circumstances. This way you can save your hard earned money

Refund policy:

• 80% refund before 48 hours of event start time
• Special note: 50% refund if your event involves point to point bus/train booking (On informing before 48 hours of event start time).
• No refund within 48 hours of event start time whatever be the reason (Health, Accident, Family crisis, Office issue or anything else)
• No refund during/after the event
• Registration fee or partial payment which is done to book your slot is non-refundable
