This Course is just for you! It's split into 3 modules to help you step by step. All learning will be done via an instructor-led online course. 

Module 1: Getting started with video

In this module we will cover the following aspects:

• Resolution
• Aspect Ratio
• Setting up your frame
• Frames Per Second (FPS)
• Focus
• Camera vs Smartphone
• How to Stabilize your shot
• How to Focus correctly
• How to maintain proper distance
• Learn what different settings in a camera mean
• Best Microphone to use (Budget options)
• Best Camera to use (Budget options)
• Make the most out of your scene

After this module, a pre-work assignment will be issued to all participants, to apply what they have learned

Module 2: Smartphone Video Editing - Basics

In this module we will cover the following aspects:

• Editing App to use
• Selecting footage
• Trimming footage
• Cutting out what you don't want
• Merging multiple clips
• Adding Text & Images
• Rendering your videos

After this module, a pre-work assignment will be issued to all participants, to apply what they have learned

Module 3: Smartphone Video Editing - Advanced

In this module we will cover the following aspects:

• Adding transitions to your videos
• Adding background music
• Audio leveling
• Adjusting Color Balance
• Using Color Filters
• Speeding Up / Slowing down footage
• Rendering and sharing videos on different platforms

After this module, the final video project will be assigned to all participants, to apply what they have learned

• Final Project review date: July 6 & 7
