About The Event


About the Destinations:

Vasota is a fort located near Bamnoli in Satara. The height from sea level is 3,842 feet. Vasota trek offers a thrilling experience as you would be walking through a dense jungle and you would get some amazing views of the surroundings. The Koyna river basin is home to many wildlife animals like a panther, wild dogs, hyena, bears etc. Also, the Vasota fort trek passes through the reserve forest which makes it more adventurous.


Day 1 

  1. Meeting Point: Office at 11:00 p.m.hrs.
  2. Depart from Pune 11:30 p.m. hrs. by a Private bus

Day 2

  1. Reach the base village, Bamnoli.
  2. Early morning wakeup call at 6.00 am
  3. Fresh up, breakfast and get ready for the trek by 7.00 am.
  4. After forest permissions departure by boats and reach Met Indavali around 9.00 am.
  5. Reach to the base of the fort by 10:30 am.
  6. Trek up to the top by noon.
  7. Lunch & Explore the fort.
  8. Start descending around 2.30pm.
  9. Reach to the base of the fort & then back to Bamnoli by boat at 05:00 pm.
  10. Start return journey towards Pune by 05:30 pm.
  11. Reach Pune by 10:30 pm.

Things to Carry:

  1. Identity Proof (Compulsory)
  2. A Rucksack to carry your luggage (NO Sling Bags, Side bags, Suitcases, trolley bags, Shabnam Bags etc.) all luggage packed in a plastic bag.
  3. 3 liters of Water (compulsory)
  4. Preferably full sleeves clothes.
  5. Trekking shoes with good grip (Strictly No – sandals, chappals, floaters)
  6. One extra pair of clothes & socks.
  7. Any personal medicine (As per your doctor’s Suggestion)
  8. Camera, Binocular (Optional)
  9. Torch with an Extra pair of Batteries
