Vairatad Fort Trek

Vairatgad is a fort in the Wai region of Satara District. Built by King Bhoj of Shilahar Dynasty in the 11th century, this fort is an offbeat experience for the true trekker in you! The best part about the fort now is that there are no places to take selfies here! Very less fortification and a beautiful temple on the top will mesmerise you!

Schedule:

22nd Sept.

21:00 - Meet at Captain Parbat Cafe, Baner and start journey towards base village.

23:30 - Arrive at Base village.

23rd Sept.

00:00 - Start trek night trek and reach the temple on the fort have some soup and play some antakshari & sleep.

07:00 - Wake up call, Have your breakfast and explore the fort followed by a brief history session.

09:30 - After breakfast Start the descend and reach the base village.

11:30 - Have Tea and start the return journey.

14:00 - Reach Captain Parbat, Disperse!!

Things to carry:

1. Water! Get at least 2 liters.
2. Get your own lunch in a Tiffin Box. (Or tell us before hand, we’ll get  it for you)
3. Torch! (Compulsory)
4. Personal medication (if any)
5. Camera (optional)

Rs 1000/- per person

1. Non AC Transport from FC to FC
2. Late night Soup, Breakfast and tea
3. Trek leader and volunteer fees
4. Toll and parking charges
