U.S.-India Aviation Summit 2011 !
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), in cooperation with U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. – India Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP), Ministry of Civil Aviation-Government of India and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organizing the 3rd U.S. - India Aviation Summit.
The 2011 summit will build upon previous highly successful aviation summits held approximately every two years in both the United States and India over the past decade. The summit would deliberate issues like air traffic management and safety, air navigation and communication systems, aircraft security, general aviation, airport development, air cargo infrastructure, and airspace architecture.
The U.S.-India Aviation Summit will serve as a technical, policy and commercial forum to assist civil aviation representatives from India and the U.S. to identify advanced technologies and practices that best suit expansion and modernization needs. The Summit will convene Government decision makers and business leaders from India and the U.S. to advance aviation sector development including regulatory and legal frameworks, technology and services, financing, public and private sector initiatives and best practices.
The summit promotes specific commercial opportunities for U.S. and Indian businesses, expands overall trade opportunities, and facilitate in sharing advance technologies relating aviation security and safety. The summit will also offer valuable networking opportunities for U.S. and Indian players to discuss the challenges facing the aviation industry in India and the U.S.
