What will you learn?
In these workshops you will learn about the basics of farming, create nutrient rich soil, grow your own kitchen garden with herbs and plants, Types of herbs, how to maintain your plants and grow them in small places.
What will be the experience like?
It will be a fun hands-on session. Gardening & Growing food is after all a fun collaborative effort. Working with the community, the knowledge of how and what to grow is exchanged, seeds swapped, labor is shared, and the harvest is exchanged. The experience of working in community gardens is therapeutic, fun and engaging. Gardening is delightful, pleasurable, and always full of surprises. The joy of watching your child pull a herb from your little garden and taking a bite or the anticipation of watching the plants grow in front of your eyes is often a remarkable experience.
