About the expert
Ajit Kamath is in the profession of Facilitation, Training & Speaking out of choice. He is a qualified lawyer, comes from a business family, worked in a Consulate (British Council) and yet preferred to transition in the field of training as he believes that ‘he can make a difference’.
He is passionate about the subject of Public Speaking, Presentation Skills, Drama & Story-Telling. He uses various drama and theatre concepts like Improv, Forum Theatre, and Role Plays etc. in his training deliveries too. He led his first open program ‘The Fascinating World of Public Speaking’ in 1996.
He is involved with various organisations on long-term application-based training projects. Some of the clients he has worked with are Philips, Castrol, National Stock Exchange, Unilever, Morgan Stanley, Tecnimont, Alfa Laval, Barclays, Thomson Reuters, Juris Corp, Johnson Mathey, Airtel, Glaxo Smith Kline, Glenmark, MSL Group etc.He loves to do large format training sessions and has presented at various forums such as NHRD, CAI, ISTD and Trainers Forum. He is mentoring a few new trainers to better their training competencies as well.
Session Coverage :
Session covers Sociometry as an Ice-breaker tool to uncover the petals of the groups comfort levels to share with each other. The more the group realises that everyone is similar the more they are open to share their thoughts, feelings and rationale. This session explores the various layers of an individual’s thoughts and feelings that build a participatory environment in trainings and workshops.
