Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 : ( 24-01-2019) Arrival at Tirthan Valley/Kullu/Himachal Region
You will be welcomed by our local representative from Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station at 11:00 AM and then drive to Tirthan Valley/Kullu/Himachal Region. Reach Tirthan Valley at 7:00 PM, enlighten your soul by staying at the beautiful Himachal homestay and having a delightful dinner, bonfire before you fast sleep after the long journey.
Day 2 : ( 25-01-2019) Trek from Bathad to Kaned
Start your day with some tasty breakfast and then 10 km drive from Gushaini to Bathad Base Camp.
Gear up for the trek and begin the walk at 9:30 AM from Bathad to Kaned which is a 4 km trek for approximately 3-4 hours. At 12:30 PM energize yourself by having a meal, then arrive at the traditional Himachal wooden home at 2:30 PM in Kaned and spend the night there. Do not forget to carry mats and sleeping bags to have a peaceful sleep. Dinner will be served around the bonfire where you can enjoy your supper. The weather being so pleasant will enlighten your soul by sipping the hot lemon tea, before slipping into the cozy sleeping bag.
Day 3 : ( 26-01-2019) Trek from Kaned to Bashleo Slopes
After a heavy breakfast, start your journey at 8:00 AM from Kaned to Bashleo Slope which is a 6 km walk through the thick dense forest and experience the snow with a beautiful view by having your lunch midway. You will be back to the Kaned before sunset and then have a delicious dinner around the bonfire.
Day 4 : ( 27-01-2019) Departure
After breakfast, make your way to trek back to Bathad by having your lunch midway and then travel to Chandigarh.
Crew & Safety Standards:
Our young & dynamic crew is well versed with surroundings. Instructors are imf qualified & has proven track record in the adventure/mountaineering field.
We use world class ce/uiaa certified technical gear from petzl to ensure maximum safety standards.
Availability of first aid, portable oxygen cans (only at high altitude) is available on use & pay basis.
Participants receive safety instructions before start of the trek/adventure program.
Please Note:
We would be travelling in peak snow season, but snow fall is entirely natural process and is beyond human control.
Running & stretching exercises 10-12 days prior to the trek/adventure trips are highly beneficial.
Wearing in layers keeps you warmer; we recommend at least five layers.
Participants need to sign indemnity form before start of adventure trip/expedition.
Participation in the adventure trip/expedition requires a measure of physical fitness and health and it is the client’s obligation to ensure that he or she is medically fit to embark on the trip.
