What is Contemporary Facilitative Training Technology (CFTT)?

There is teaching, there is training, there is facilitation and there is facilitative training. Learning interventions these days are not about information download. The most effective learning interventions are those where learners are encouraged to discover solutions and affect changes. This requires a shift in perspective and an investment in learning the art and science behind facilitative training. What are some of the highlights of the CFTT?

• Flipped Classroom –  the use of a blended learning system where every classroom module is preceded by an online module. The idea is that you do your homework in class and all the classwork at home.
• Live design experience – Every attendee works on a design project where a complete learning intervention is designed keeping in mind the specific objectives of the intervention.
• Studio recording of delivery and live feedback – The real taste of the pudding is in eating it and not just talking about it or watching someone else eating it. This is a paradigm shifting experience for many of our trainers and the highlight of the program. A professional videographer records the session in a studio environment replete with managed situations.
