Neuromuscular dentistry (NMD) is all about the science of creating a harmonious atmosphere among the muscles of mastication, the temporo mandibular joint and the teeth so that neither compensation nor compromise happens in any of the above three constituents of the stomatognathic triad. 90% of all TMD is myogenous and hence should be treated holistically rather than going under the scalpel. NMD is the holistic approach. By creating the Myocentricposition for the mandible, the teeth are then brought into that occlusion, hence reprogramming the muscles of mastication. This is done using state-of-the-art and sophisticated, yet, easy to use, equipments. NMD will also help us grasp the science of the silent killer, Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and how a dental surgeon can help a patient control it.

Dr. Rajesh Raveendranathan will explain the basic concepts of NMD and how TMD and OSA can be successfully managed by practicing it. This 1 hour webinar will provide you with the basic knowledge of this innovative science and is free when you register for Course2. Once you finish this introductory course, you will be eligible to join the next course; which would be a 2 day hands-on course enabling you to register the TENS bite and make micro-occlusion adjustments on the resultant orthotic with the T-Scan.

Neuromuscular Dentistry (NMD) taught the way it needs to be. Step by step. The Right Bite - ICPRI (Indra Craniofacial Pain Relief India LLP) under the aegis of ICCMO (International College of Cranio Mandibular Orthopedics) brings to India the complete solution of NMD to treat TMJD (Temporo Mandibular Joint Disorders) and OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnoea). Learn it the perfect way from Dr. Rajesh Raveendranathan (BDS, MICCMO). Covered over 2 modules of 2 days each, this course teaches you how to diagnose TMD and OSA, record the bite using a J5 ULF TENS device, construct an orthotic (both acrylic and acetyl resin) and adjust the orthotic using the T-Scan (by Tekscan with the able support of our NMD specialists Dr. Vikas Agarwal, Dr. Prafulla Thumathi and Dr. Tatu Joy). All that you need to know to set up your TMJ practice. During the second module there will also be a sneak preview on how the K7 helps and confirms the efficacy of NMD. At the end of the second module, every participant will be awarded the ‘The Right Bite – ICPRI - ICCMO Course2 certification.  As an added benefit, every participant will receive a 10% discount on the J5 ULF TENS device.
