Tikona (Marathi: तिकोना) also known as Vitandgad) is the dominant hill fort in Maval in western India. It is located near Kamshet around 60 km from Pune. The village nearest to the fort is called Tikona-Peth. The 3500 ft high hill is pyramidal in shape and the name Tikona means "triangle".

Itinerary:

6:00 Start Journey From Pune 

8:00 Reach Tikona Peth, Base Village.

Start Trek After Breakfast 

Reach Fort in 1.5 Hrs & Explore fort.

Return to base village by 1 pm

Have lunch

Few side trips if time permits.

Start Return Journey To Pune.

7:30 PM Reach Pune.

Pickup Points:

Swargate 6:00 am 

Deccan 6:15 am

Bhujbal Chowk, Wakad 6:40 am

Things to carry:

1.ID Proof Compulsory

2.Dry Food (snacks, plum cakes, biscuits).

3.Extra Pair of Clothes. (1 Pair)

4.Personal First Aid Kit (Medicine you usually required).

5.Cap, goggle, sunscreen etc….

6.Camera (Optional).

7.Water Bottle (at least 3 Liters ) (Must)

8.Full Pant and full sleeve shirt (Must)

9.Good Trekking Shoes (Must).
