A two-days hands-on training workshop on Thematic Apperception Test was organized by TransilienZ, Bangalore on 2nd & 3rd June, 2018. The resource person is Mr Kashi nath Sharma, RCI certified practicing clinical psychologist; with the expertise in projective tests.
Thematic Apperception Test is a projective test used to evaluate a person's patterns of thought, attitudes, observational capacity, and emotional responses by their response to pictorial test cards. It taps into a subject's unconscious mind to reveal repressed aspects of personality, motives and needs for achievement, power and intimacy, and problem-solving abilities.
The topics covered during the workshop were from the introduction of thematic apperception test to the history of the test, Murray’s &,Indian Adaptation of the test, Applicability of the test, card Selection, Administration ,Interpretation and how to conclude the assessment with report writing.
