ABOUT PRIYANKA BABBAR
Priyanka Babbar has been an educator for more than 13 years. She has successfully completed International Summer School Program in Physical Theatre from London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA, Berlin) in 2017 and she is a Certified Drama Facilitator from Theatre Professionals.
She co-founded Small Tales Storytelling in 2015 and has conducted over three hundred storytelling workshop sessions across Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh and Singapore for various organisations, events and schools. To name a few, The Salaam Bombay Foundation, NCPA Summer Fiesta, Kahani Karnival, American School of Bombay, Aditya Birla World Academy, Qualcomm, KPMG India, Stamford American School.
She has trained over a hundred teachers in ‘The Art of Storytelling’ and directed theatre productions for children’s events across the country. She currently teaches drama at NSS Hill Spring International School. Through her unique methodology, by incorporating elements of theatre, art, music and movement, she engages all kinds of learners and encourages participants to explore their imagination. Thus, paving the way for them to become empathetic, open-minded thinkers and problem solvers. Besides teaching, she is involved in professional theatre and choreography for various events. She has been an active member of theatre groups that have performed at festivals around the world, like India by the Bay Festival in Hong Kong, Hyderabad Children’s Theatre Festival, IPAR International Theatre Festival, Theatre Olympics 2018, Kala Ghoda Arts Festival , The MetroPlus Hindu Festival, and Prithvi Theatre to name a few.
