Necklace Cyclothon 2017 is an event proposed to be organized in Hyderabad at the necklace road to trigger a nationwide campaign to promote health, culture, and trade.
MEMORANDUM
Necklace road should be made family entertainment zone - Traffic free Zone on every Sunday by holdingSunday Mela - This will promote Family Bonding, encouraging small business and traders, Promotion ofCulture and Heritage and reduces carbon footprint by promoting walking and cycling within the zone.
Eco-friendly
This event will discourage people using motor vehicles in the entire zone and also promote good health by encouraging cycling and walking. As a rule all visitors will be requested to leave their motor vehicles in the common parking outside the entry to the Zone. They will be offered Cycles on rent for those who wish to cycle inside the zone. Walkers get a free entry. Those who will come by their own bicycles are allowed with their cycles inside. This will reduce carbon emmissions in the zone thus setting a prototype model for the world to learn from our city in promoting eco friendly zones in Metros.

* Observing a day in the month for making a zone in every city free from pollution by way of gathering interested members to join for usage of on fuelemitting vehicles.
* Regular mention by Radio and TV for the first quarter a day before and on the day of the monthly calendar day marked for the purpose.
