- Introduction to champagne

- Difference between sparkling wine and champagne

12:30 – 12:45 Tea and coffee break

12:45 – 01:30 Understanding different types of red and white grapes

- The French pronunciation of the different varietals of grapes

- How to read the label of a wine bottle

01:30 – 02:30 – Lunch Break.

02:30 – 04:00 Different types of shapes of wine glasses & wine bottles

- Appropriate Steps on ‘How to open a bottle of wine’

- Appropriate Steps on ‘How to open a bottle of champagne’

- Pouring of wine into a glass

- Sniffing, swirling and sipping of wine

04:00 – 05:00 Wine tasting session

- How to recognise the flavours

- Tasting notes

05:00 – 06:00 Food and wine pairing

- Wine pairing with Indian food
