At first, I thought this was just a thing and will go away soon. But every passing day, brought with it, crazy twists and turns just like in those thriller movies. Initially, I was in denial. Then the confidence that nothing will happen to me and my business. When reality dawned on me finally, it had already cast its spell. My business and I were never going to be the same again. The experience has left me with lessons not to be forgotten, and I hope to live to tell these stories for long.
OK, so it was a bad year. Agreed! But what next?
If there is one thing that the Covid-19 pandemic has given us, it is the gift of experience, introspection, and lessons especially to the business community. Whether you are a start up owner or run an already successful business, a family business owner, or the CEO of a successful large-scale enterprise – Every one of us had the opportunity to experience, introspect and learn lessons. I had mine and I am sure you do too!
Why don’t we as a community come together to share our experiences with others over a cup of coffee/ tea? How about spending an evening listening to other’s stories and enriching our own lives and businesses? I am sure there is a lot that each one of us can teach the other through the stories of our businesses. I for one would surely like to hear your stories and apply the learnings back to my business. Would you?
