Your speaker(s): 

Steve Smith, Speaker,  Author,  Microsoft Regional Director and MVP

Steve is a software developer with a passion for building quality software as effectively as possible. He is a Microsoft Regional Director and MVP, a frequent speaker at developer conferences since 2001, an author and a   trainer. Steve has written or contributed to several books on software development, including 97 Things Every Programmer Should Know. Steve founded and coordinates a software craftsmanship user group in northeast Ohio
  (HudsonSC.com). 

  In the past he's co-founded and sold Lake Quincy Media and NimblePros   (recently acquired by Telerik). Steve's an ex-Army Engineer officer and   Iraq veteran who enjoys playing games and spending time outdoors. Currently he is an Executive VP, Enterprise Services at Telerik. He is passionate  about software craftsmanship and architecture and design best practices. He  enjoys helping fellow programmers achieve their own "ah-ha" moments  through speaking, his blog, videos, and other opportunities.

  He enjoys biking, swimming, karate, and all manner of games when he is not   immersed in the latest developments in software.


 

Chris Sells, Author, Ex-Microsoft and ardent community contributor

Chris Sells has written several books, including Programming WPF, Windows Forms 2.0 Programming and ATL Internals. Before joining Telerik, Chris was Program Manager for the Business Platform Division at Microsoft. In his free time, Chris makes a pest of himself on Microsoft forums and mailing lists.
