About The Event

Note - Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded. The TEDxBangalore Adventure is full.

August 1 | The TEDxBangalore Adventure

The TEDxBangalore Adventure is our attempt at showcasing the very best of Bangalore to our guests that may not be aware of it. We want to highlight real people, initiatives and institutions that are actively involved in making our city better every day. The first 200 guests at TEDxBangalore will enjoy this daylong adventure free of charge and we are thrilled to make you discover our city with a fresh pair of eyes.

August 3 | The TEDxBangalore Main Event

The TEDxBangalore Main Event will be a 1 day event having 3 thematic sessions. They are:

1. BLR to Bangalore

This opening session will attempt to reintroduce Bangalore to all of us but in a different light. We hope to make you discover and fall in love with the people, movements and organizations that are thoughtfully contributing to shaping our city and making it a better place to live.

2. Down South

The second session stresses on the need for a conversation between Bangalore and the rest of India to occur. We believe that we have a lot to learn and share with one another and hope that this experience will catalyze a meaningful exchange to make our lives much richer.

3. Outsourced

Bangalore is known as the Outsourcing and IT Capital of the world and although we have grown to accept and subscribe to this identity is this all who we are? The final session will explore this chain of thought and invite ideas from different parts of the world so that we can learn from them and be more intentional about the identity we as a people and city want to cultivate for the next few decades.
