Present:  One-day workshop on

Writing Professional Resumes, Project Proposals, and White Papers

 March 22nd , 2014 (Saturday), From 9.30 am to 5:30 pm


Technical Writers of India (TWIN) is the single largest community of technical communicators in India. For more information about TWIN, see Over the last couple of decades, the technical communication profession has grown rapidly in India, especially in the IT industry, and is now fast becoming a sought-after career option.
This workshop teaches how to write resumes, project proposals, and white papers.

Course Overview:

Foundation Concepts: Introduces technical communication concepts and the technical communication process.

Writing Effectively: Discusses basic writing concepts, grammar rules, technical writing style, and punctuation.  In addition, it discusses how to write consistently and clearly.


Information Architecture and User/Task Analysis: Discusses techniques to organize information in a document.

Information Design: Discusses page design, typography, visual elements (tables, pictures, and so on), headings, white spaces, designing a page, and so on.
