Sankalan Theatre Group in collaboration with Cyberabad Gujarati Association proudly presents "Tapee Taro Tarkhat", a Gujarati play going to be performed in Hyderabad.

With 2006 Surat floods as backdrop, Gujarati play "Tapee Taro Tarkhat" revolves around seven people who get stuck in their own house. The play throws light on deep and complex nature of human relationships, and how these emotions changes at the time of crisis & adversity when life is at stake. This play also reminds us how disconnected we are in this "so called"  connected world. "Caring is sharing", "Respecting elders", "Companionship" are some of the virtues we know very well but don't know how to put into daily practice. 
 
Written by Shakti Dodiya and Directed by Mihir Pujara, this play is a perfect blend of comedy, romance, and tragedy. The play ends with a beautiful message about what really matters in life. 
 

Mihir Pujara is a Hyderabad based Theatre artist and founder of “Sankalan Theatre Group”, the first ever Gujarati theatre group in the city. With an aim of bringing the glory of Gujarati (regional) theatre to Hyderabad, he wants to connect Gujjus staying in Hyderabad back to their roots.

Their first production was a big hit and now his team is ready to entertain the Gujarati community of Hyderabad with their second mega production – “Tapee Taro Tarkhat”.
