HR departments around the world today face dramatically increased expectations for performance and contribution. The primary challenge today is to ensure that there is a strong linkage between a company’s strategic priorities and the effectiveness of human capital management. HR must maintain a high level of business rigour and must be closely aligned to the organisation’s ability to meet enhanced stakeholder expectations. Thus there is an increased need to embrace change and develop a mindset where the HR function is capable of driving business results.
Discussions on this seminar will be based on extensive research conducted by renowned institutes in the field of HR as well as the experiences of leading CEOs and HR heads at the workshop. In an unique format, each issue will be examined both from the CEO’s and the HR leader’s point of view. You will be exposed to a proven framework for assessing the ‘fit’ between the strategic intent and positioning of your organisation, and the resources and priorities of the HR department. Practical guidance on adapting to meet the present and future requirements of the business will be covered.
