Sudhagad / Bhorapgad सुधागड /भोरपगड is a hill fort situated in Maharashtra, India. The summit is 620 metres (2,030 ft) above sea level. The first fort has several ruins of two temples dedicated to Shiva. However, the temple of Bhoraidevi(its patron goddess) is well maintained temple.On the large plateau at the summit, there are two lakes, a house, a big granary, some tombs, a shrine (Vrindavan) and numerous other ruins, scattered around the fort area. There are three main gates the largest of which is called the Maha Darwaja. From the top, other forts like Sarasgad, Korigad, Dhangad, Taila-Baila are clearly visible.
Day and Date : Sept 9 & 10, 2017(Saturday & Sunday)
Trek Attractions : Shiva, Bhoraidevi temple, Pant Sachiv wada at the top of the fort, chor darwaja, scenic waterfalls, Hot water spring in Pali village.
Purpose : The great mountain ranges are some of the most beautiful and interesting areas of the world to visit. As they are often not served by roads, they can also be the most remote and difficult places to get to and the only real way to see them is on foot. For some people the trekking may be an end in itself, for others it is a means to enjoy the magnificent panoramas and often the people of the mountains with their culture, traditions and religions provide an equal interest to the scenery.
Duration : 2 day (Overnight in Tents)

Reporting at : Shivajinagar bus stop, Pune (6:00 AM sharp on 9th September)
Things to Carry :
Schedule of the Trek:
1. Reporting at Shivajinagar bus stop as per the timings shared.
2.7:00 AM – Have breakfast.
3.1:00 PM - Reach Base village,have lunch.
4. 3:00 PM : Start the hike.
5. 6:00 PM : Reach the top. Pitch tents. Have tea.
6. 9:00 PM : Have Dinner. Dinner will be prepared by trekkers. Fun activities post dinner.
7. 10:00 PM : Tents will be assigned on sharing basis. 3 persons per tent. Retire for the day.
1. 7:00 AM – wakeup call.
2. 8:00 AM – Have breakfast and tea.
3.9:00 AM - Start the descend, reach Base village,have lunch.
4. 3:00 PM : Start journey towards pune.
5. 7:00 PM : Reach pune. Trek ends.

Who can participate : All trekking enthusiasts in the age group of 10 – 50 years.

Behavior during trek :
Participants are expected to behave cordially with each other. Smoking and alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited. Please make sure a person’s behavior does not prove to be a discomfort for others.
Any plastic waste should not be thrown over the trek and it should be kept with you. You can deposit all waste in the dust bin at base village once trek is over.
