SolidWorks Workshop by Robocraze

This Workshop will introduce the concept of drafting and modelling. Capitalizing on the basics, we will cover the most commonly used functions in SolidWorks to model a part or to make an assembly. We will take the help of relevant examples for participants to practice these concepts.

The course will include:

• Introduction to SoildWorks
• How to  Sketch
• Different views, axes, choosing a plane to sketch
• Drawing tools - Line, Circle, Rectangle, Arc, Spline, etc.
• How to Dimension, Trim, Offset, and Mirror Extrude, Revolve (extrude) – completely closed sketch, Extruded Cut, Fillet, Rib and Shell.
• Designing and Modelling a Part

Projects:

• Simple extrude of a part
• Coffee Mug
• Door Sliding Bolt
• Industrial Robot

Certificates will be provided on successful completion of the course.

Note: Since this course involves coding, laptops are compulsory.
