This 2 days workshop on solar system design and installation has been designed to help individuals understand the fastest growing power generation in the world- solar power. Open to all, individuals with basic knowledge, without any experience, students and those who are keen to understand the fundamentals in solar energy are welcome.
The 2 days workshop will cover fundamentals of electricity, photovoltaic effect, solar cells, system and system components, types of solar inverters, batteries, types of solar power systems and solar applications. The designing part focuses on the basic system design and calculations, determination of cable size, performance ratio, cost estimation and will include simple class room assignment for residential design practice. The workshop will also cover Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of off grid solar power plants with hands on practical.
