What is it about?
A sketch (ultimately from Greek σχέδιος – schedios, "done extempore"[1][2][3]) is an executed freehand drawing that might record something that the artist sees, it might record or develop an idea for later use or it might be used as a way of graphically demonstrating an image, idea or principle.
Sketches can be made in any drawing medium. The ones we are going to explore are in a dry medium such as colour pencils, graded pencils, sketch pens, pastels etc.
The sketching techniques on 28th January include :-
Session 1 - pointalism
Session 2 - squaring up
