On the occasion of the 80th death anniversary of the great philosopher and first President of Czechoslovakia Thomas Masaryk and 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations with India the Embassy of the Czech Republic invites you to a cultural event called "Singing for Masaryk".
Czech dramaturg and composer Daniel Dobias will present a musical story about a meeting of two great personalities Rabindranath Tagore and Thomas Masaryk who both were nominated for the Nobel Prize and lived at the same time and who had similar ideas about independence of their country which finally came true.
He will be accompanied by ten singers, members of the Czech choir SBORECEK from the Louny Art School with choirmaster Eva Kleinova and director Sarka Riedlova
