Sense8 has transcended boundaries of a regular TV show and broken barries of Gender, Sexuality and Race. Above all, it has shown us that Love, the idea of a profound love can make you feel the immeasurable and that we are all connected. It may not be the greatest TV show but it will always be rememered as the show that challegened a thousand norms and was ahead of it's time.
This was supposed to be a friends thing (A close group who deeply love the show and all that it represents) but we decided to make it an open public event! Even though our favourite cluster is saying goodbye, we can make our own and meet new sensates and have a great weekend saying goodbye to the cluster. I am also a we.
Venue: Shantai by the Lake, its a beautiful property situated right next to a lake in Guhagar, Near Chiplun. We are partnering with them and Photography Promotion Trust for this screening.
Schedule:
June 9th (Saturday):
Reach Chiplun Station
12pm - Check-in
1pm - Lunch
2pm - Let the fun start!
We spend rest of the day by the pool, meeting people, introductions, in the lawns, by the lake, we will screen some episodes too, go to the beach (we will have a vehicle) enjoy a sunset (If doesn't rain) and head back to the resort by 7pm
8pm - Meet each other, maybe play a song or two! Pool side party!!
9pm - Dinner (Great Konkani Food- Veg/Non Veg)
10pm - Sense8 Finale Screening
Rest of the night is all ours!
