During a crime scene we might come across solution about which we are clue less. Something might just look like water but can be a dangerous acid. Acids and bases are two special kinds of chemicals. Almost all liquids are either acids or bases to some degree. Universal indicator is used to find out if something is an acid or base. It changes the colour according to pH(unit to check if something is an acid or base) of the liquid. For strong base the colour turns blue, for neutral it turns green and for strong acids its red.
Through this workshop kids will learn basic of science facts through model making and experiment which will help them to think outside the box and increase their inquisitivenss. Chemical Detective program involves learning about acids and bases, Forensic science , How things work and other interesting science concepts through exciting experiments, projects, puzzling, logical thinking, practical debates, role plays, expedition etc
