About The Event1

The fair we are conceptualizing is one of its kinds to be held in Bangalore. For the first time we bring a cornucopia of folk dances and food to the people of Bangalore. Rajasthani , Punjabi, Maharastrian, etc - folk music and dance, cuisines, rural environment with pottery makers, butter churners, rotis, masala made in earthen cookware, etc.

RAJASTHAN : Food and folk dances, rural Rajasthani village representation, etc

GUJRAT : We would have a 4 day dandiya festival for the entertainment of the people.

How can we leave out DURGA PUJA OF BENGAL. We would have a huge Durga Ma idol with traditional puja for 4 days.

Obviously Bangalore festival is incomplete without celebrating DUSSEHRA. We would display Dussera dolls & burn Ravan idol on Dussera.

All these would come in congruence with each other for a 4 day Sanskritik Hulli.

Creating an environment – which is fun, takes us to our roots, brings us close to our villages, gives a chance to folk dancers and musicians to showcase their talents, bring our traditional festivals to the forefront and lots more.

Enter through a fort like entrance to the world of entertainment.

Entertainment :

There would be various forms of folk dancing, singing,  happening all over the grounds. These too are free to watch for all.

Then there are fire jugglers, kathputli dance, magician, etc – performing in various areas of the grounds. These too are free for all. There is a rides area. This would be a paid attraction.

The whole atmosphere would be one of joy, fun and entertainment. Children, young people and even old persons have lots of things to see and do here. Scintillating performances, mouth watering food, exciting games, thrilling rides and much more awaits the people of Bangalore. These four days would be remembered and awaited all year. We plan to organize this Mela every year.
