Nestled in the heart of Bhandardara, Sandhan (commonly known as “Valley Of Shadows”) is well known for a technical descent through the valley. This water carved valley, which is 300 feet deep and stretches to a distance of 2 Kms, is also called “The Grand Canyon of Maharashtra”. The entire valley is surrounded by majestic Sahyadri mountains.
Come, camp with Mischief Managed and you get to wake up to the stunning view of surrounding mountain ranges and hill forts of Ajoba Range, Kalsubai, Alang, Madan and Kulang (AMK) and Ratangad. Also, as an added bonus, we are sure about fireflies accompanying us while we venture into the wild during the night.

ITINERARY:

Meeting point: 12.28 pm CST
(you need to buy Kasara Return ticket from ur respective station)
Board the 12.28 pm Kasara superfast local
02:53 PM: Reach Kasara Station
Proceed towards base village by private vehicle (jeeps)
Reach Samrad by 05:45 PM
6.00 pm Evening Tea and Snacks
Proceed to Camping location, setup tents, bonfire and games.
9.30 pm Dinner, Stargazing , Music
Sleep in tents with breath taking view

6:30 am: Wake up call, Watch Sunrise with the magnificent view of Bhandardara region,
Tea and Breakfast
7.30 am: Start trekking in Valley of shadows – Sandhan Valley
Ascend back to the base village by 9:30 am. (tentatively)
Wind up and leave by 10:30 am (tentatively)
Reach Kasara by 12:30 pm. and proceed to Mumbai.
