Let us start New Year with a journey back in time to the historic region of Awadh- a city known for its astounding architecture and soulful and delicious food.To relive the times The Hans,starting January 14,brings to you a three week long Awadhi food festival 'Salaam-E-Awadh' at Kaffa, its 24 hour multi cuisine restaurant.So Savour authentic flavours of the glorious city with Awadhi and Mughlai specialist Chef Vikas Mudgal.
The festival would be available both during lunch (12.30pm to 3pm) and dinner (7.30pm to midnight) with meal for two not costing above Rs 1,500/- approximately.
The festival will showcase the most authentic and unique dishes from theAwadh region. Guests can choose from over 25 varieties of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes- from melt in your mouth kebabs to curries, delicious biryanis and an array of breads. Main highlights include Shorba-e-Akbari, Galoutikebab, Surkhmatarke kebab, Gosht ki nahari, Haleem, Garam taaseer I macchli, Dum kaju I matar, Paneer methidaar, Khamiri roti, Warq parantha,Gosht Dum biryani and Bharwan gucchi biryani. Completing the gastronomic journey are exquisite desserts followed by the traditional Paan.
