Run for Peace Objective:
Man is losing enormously in personal life with the perpetual thoughts of achieving what he desires.He is repenting after achieving his goals by realising what he lost during the course.This is the every modern man's anguish.He is losing invaluable things like health,recreation,peace of mind and contentment . Botanical Garden Walkers Association is organising ‘ run for Peace’ 10K run programme on the occasion of the father of nation Mahatma Gandhi's Jayanthi ,who is also a symbol peace.This programme aims at promoting health and peace.
About SKVBR Botanical Garden Walkers Association :
We are witnessing urbanisation, uncontrollable pollution and felling the trees to widen roads for development. It is happening in our capital city New Delhi and all other metro cities.We have reached a dangerous level of buying oxygen cylinders and at the same time felling numerous trees .NGOs were founded by nature lovers and environmentalists to protect public parks from occupation.It is done to keep these parks intact for our future generations.Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Botanical Garden Walkers Association is established in 2011 by the concerned citizens with the aim of protecting it.We have been doing our best to develop this park as a principal lung space to the residents of this city.We have been rendering our help to Telangana Forest Department in maintaining bio diversity of this park .This is the token of our love for environment , nature and public health.
All participants will be given a start time and the participants are expected to arrive 5:00AM before the start time
If a participant arrives early he/she will be made to wait till the earlier wave is cleared from the hold area
The Runner’s kit will have to be collected Two days before the Run i.e. on 30th September 2021 at the Botanical Garden Entrance Gate Run for Peace Stall. The timing for collecting the Kit is from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm only. No Kits will be provided on the Run day whatsoever. It is the sole responsibility of the Runner to collect the kit at the given place. And we apologize to say KIT will not be provided on the event day.
If you are participating in 10K Category Run, your Goodie bag will include T-shirt and a Timing Chip along with an information booklet and other freebies as applicable.
It is mandatory for the participant to collect his/her KIT personally. In case of unavoidable circumstances, the participant can send his/her authorized representative to collect the KIT on his/her behalf.
Medals will be given to all participants
We request the people please do not register in the event if any physical deformities
It is advised to runners above 65 years of age and above to not to participate in the run. If you are suffering from existing comorbidity of Cardiac disease, Diabetes, Blood Pressure OR over Weight
You will not participate in the race if you or your family members have been tested positive for Covid -19 and it is not yet 15 days that the last Covid - 19 test result is negative.
The above rules will change from time to time based on the situation and participants registering will be confirmed only two days before the event.
It is suggested to the participants to kindly leave their bags in the cars as there will be NO BAGGAGE COUNTER in the mall for leaving baggage. You are responsible for your own belongings.
The kit you have collected includes all the detailed rules of the event, the route map for the run, and parking details. Please be able to observe them all
