Ruhaniyat the largest, one of the most awaited and the only festival of its kind that brings participants from all the corners of India and other countries and takes them to seven different cities is now in its eleventh year. More than a concert, the festival is a link connecting a past that was enviably rich with the present that is seeking so many answers. The link is brought alive by the carriers of living traditions, undiscovered masters. Monks, Fakirs, Bauls, Healers, Story tellers, folk musicians, Qawwals etc. as well as performers from other countries all perform on the same platform.
Apart from some of the most enchanting and rare forms of India, each year the festival also features participants from other countries like Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Switzerland, Indonesia and so on. A breathtakingly beautiful tapestry of music, this festival takes the listeners off on a journey to sojourn within, a journey towards oneself with live performances that capture the mind and heart; showering an abundance of positive energy. As the enchanting presentations by unique groups or individual participants spread the feeling of peace and love, these unheard of art forms also get nurtured. Each exposure goes a long way in building bridges, and motivating individuals who participate.
