About The Event

The month of Ramzan is always very colorful and bright with a festive feeling around Charminar adding to its charm. There is food, shopping and many many more actions which make it a must visit place during this Holy Month.

Haleem, introduced during the rule of Mehbub Ali Khan, sixth Nizam of Hyderabad, today it is a staple and if safe to mention to an extent, identity of the Hyderabadi cuisine.

As per the popular culture, it is known as Daleem. Since Haleem is also referred to the name of God.

Join us to experience the stories surrouning Biryani, Charminar & Haleem, as we take you around the by lanes.

Registration for per head costs Rs. 799 per head (inclusive of food), and can be done in the below URL. Cheers!

To maximize you get the taste of everything, the portions will be shared among the participants. However, be assured, we won't let you go hungry.

Important Guidelines

  • Iterinary will be shared before beginning the walk
  • Wear comfortables clothes and shoes as there will be lot of walking involved.
  • Carry rain protection gear for untimely downpour.
  • Food can be packed on own expense
  • Avoid food waste as there are people who are still starving and dying of hunger.
  • Please be on time since we need to cover a lot and any delay will be a loss for the participants.
  • Take cognizance of the culture and talk to people around as you walk.
  • Reach out to the organizer for any discomfort/issues.
  • If the participant move out of the group, it will be at his/her own risk

 

Participation guidelines:

  • Dress comfortably and approprate to the local culture. Women are requested to bring scarves along, if they plan to visit places of religious worship.
  • There will be lot walking so please wear comfortable shoes and carry an umbrella, just incase of adverse weather condition.
  • Cars can be parked near the High Court or designated parking areas around Charminar. If you are coming in a car, plan to come a little early so that you can find parking and walk to the gathering point.
  • Packing leftover food will not be available. You can pack anything you like at additional cost on actual.
