About the Event:
Rajasthan CSR Summit and Exhibition, hosted by Department of Industries, Government of Rajasthan and co-hosted by NGOBOX, is the largest CSR forum of the state. The summit aims to understand the possibilities of development through CSR in the state by bringing together business leaders, board directors, CSR foundations, impact investors, philanthropists, innovators, government agencies, the UN bodies and non-profits leaders to explore synergies and co-create solutions.
It is a platform to share and learn best practices and discuss opportunities for collaborations, to showcase projects and programs; to learn from peers; to initiate new partnerships; to find new resources and to understand how CSR is playing a vital role in developing the state.
The 2018 Summit in Jaipur was a benchmark event with Vedanta Group, Aditya Birla Group, Ambuja Cement, Shree Cement, WISH Foundation, NSDL, Next Education, STEM Learning as key partners for the event. The event witnessed the participation of 650 plus delegates including all the leading corporate and non-profits participation.
The 2019 event is of greater importance as India enters in the sixth year of CSR compliance. Indian businesses spent close to INR 55,000 Cr on development projects in past five years to help India move towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is the time for us to take a pause, think, re-think and realign to get the best out of each penny that goes for community impacts.
