About The Event

Quadcopter is a multi rotor air vehicle which has marked its interests for the benefit of both civil and military domains. It’s amazing maneuverability and the ease to fly in constricted locations has achieved itself a remarkable position in the aviation sector

Highlights of the Workshop

  • This workshop by Roboversity gives the participants an opportunity to understand the theory behind the functioning of quadcopters (multi rotor air vehicles) and their design.
  • Participants work hands-on in designing the circuit and to build the rotary wing aircrafts.
  • Workshop takes the participants through a series of interactive lectures and design sessions supplemented by practical sessions, thereby providing a complete learning experience.
  • Participants assemble their own instruments and build the Quadcopter circuit hands-on under the guidance of our professionals which are later tested by flying them
  • The workshop is designed by IIT Kanpur Graduates

Workshop Structure :

Duration: 2 days (8 hours per day)

The workshop is divided into 5 modules:

  • Understanding Quadcopter and its Dynamics
  • Exposure to Design of Quadcopter circuitry and its programming
  • Fabrication of Quadcopter frame and its circuit
  • Calibration and Testing of the developed Quadcopter
  • Flying using Radio Control

Awards

  • Awards will be given to the participating teams in terms of Best Flight and Best Fabrication
  • The names of the recipients will be put up on our website permanently and they will also be provided with certificate of merit

The parts marked * are not part of economy kit. These components would be provided during the workshop but would be taken back after the workshop. This is being done to reduce the cost of the workshop and make it affordable for students who do not want to buy the complete kit. 
Complete kit consists of all the above items excluding transmitter and receiver
