An evening of popular music by Bulgarian pop-singer Yordanka Christova, famous for her works in the 60s, 70s & 80s. Collab: Embassy of Bulgaria.
She has had over 3000 concerts in Bulgaria and 36 countries worldwide. She has made 17 albums and a repertoire of songs in 15 languages. She has won dozens of awards at international contests and festivals. But as she likes saying – “The most important thing is that I am still singing!” that is the text of the song you just hear. Its Bulgarian title is “Confession”. The song is made on one of famous Jose Feliciano’s hits. The Bulgarian lyrics are by poet and singer Mihail Belchev. It has become the emblem of Yordanka Hristova as a singer and a woman; and the red dark rose has become her visiting card. Yordanka Hristova is ready to make a selection of her songs for yet another album and is eagerly expecting her next concert tours. In August she is to join the jury at the “Burgas and the Sea” festival and then she is leaving for Cuba.
