Participation Terms and Conditions –

Project Management Regional Conference 2021, Virtual Edition

Registrations

The only mode of registration is ONLINE via our registration partner “meraevents.com”. The URL to register is https://www.meraevents.com/event/pmnc19?ucode=organizer

 

Early Bird Offer:

  • Early bird registration is valid from April 20th, 2021 to May 9th, 2021.
  • Early Bird attendees will get a price benefit over the regular registration fee.
  • Cancellations and transfers of registrations are strictly not permitted under the "Early Bird Offer".
  • Attendees will not be refunded for non-attendance.
  • Group Discounts (5 or more registrations) are NOT applicable during the Early Bird offer.
  • 18% GST will be levied on ticket prices.
  • If you have opted to receive an invoice, please mention your GST number and full address with pincode while registering yourself. An e-copy of the invoice will be emailed to you.

 

Regular fee:

  • Regular fee registration is valid from May 10th, 2021 to May 27th, 2021.
  • Cancellations and transfers will be treated on case-to-case basis. Please write to registration@pmi-india.org with the reason for cancellation or transfer latest by May 27th. Any requests thereafter will not be entertained.
  • Incase of transfer of registration, if the fee category is different of the transferee, in such case the fee difference (if any) will need to be paid before a confirmation is sent out. No refunds of partials amounts will be issued if the transferee belongs to a lower fee category.
  • Attendees will not be refunded for non-attendance.
  • If cancellation is approved, the money will be refunded by our payment partner Meraevents within 15 working days of approval.
  • 18% GST will be levied on ticket prices.
  • Any Corporate or individual group of 5 and above participants are entitled to a Group Discount which is equal to the Early Bird price of the same category.
  • If you have opted to receive an invoice, please mention your GST number and full address with pincode while registering yourself. An e-copy of the invoice will be emailed to you.
  • In case of a group of individuals register using a group registration category, then only a single invoice will be raised on the name of the primary registrant. (Separate invoices will NOT be issued to each participant)

 

System and internet requirements for joining the virtual conference

  • The platform that will be used to air the virtual conference is Airmeet. Please log on to https://help.airmeet.com/ for more information
  • FAQs on Airmeet can be found here: https://help.airmeet.com/support/solutions
  • Airmeet is best experienced with a 10 Mbps connection. We recommend a minimum download bandwidth of 5 Mbps.
  • The recommend web browsers are Google Chrome for WIndows and Safari for IoS users.
  • The minimum system requirements for Attendees using Airmeet are:

o   Dual-Core processor

o   2GB memory

  • Recommended system requirements (equivalent or higher) vary with the use case:

o   Processor

o   7th Gen Intel i3

o   6th Gen Intel i5

o   AMD Ryzen 3 3300U

o   Memory: 4 GB memory

  • The virtual conference is best viewed on a laptop or desktop. Attendees may have feature limitations when using a mobile device.

 

Important points for all attendees

  • This conference is a virtual event.
  • Attendees are expected to have systems and internet bandwidth requirements to handle basic live streaming in a webinar format.
  • Attendees can be eligible for maximum of 7 Professional Development Units (PDUs) for attending the conference. Actual PDU's granted may vary based on the final agenda.
  • Note: PDUs mentioned above are the upper limit on number of PDU’s that can be claimed. However, this may vary depending on the PMI credential you hold.
  • Attendees will be emailed a participation certificate with PDU code a week after the conference, all credential holders are required to self-login their PDU's thereafter.
  • You are bound by the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
  • All verbal and textual comments and questions by attendees are required to be respectful and courteous. Any attendee found posting objectionable comments or questions will be immediately expelled from the event and any such comments or questions will be deleted.
  • You will receive an e-mail of acknowledgement upon completing the registration process. A confirmation mail with your login credentials for the virtual conference will be sent a week after you have completed your registration.
  • In case any data that is provided during registration is found to be false and/or incorrect, PMI India reserves right to cancel the registration and no refund will be provided.

  • PMI reserves the right to exclude an attendee wholly or partly from the Conference if the attendee disturbs the event in any manner.
  • The virtual session may or may not be recorded, depending on the permissions granted by the speaker delivering the session.
  • This registration is valid for attendees to attend the LIVE virtual conference. Recorded sessions are not a commitment to attendees after the event has concluded.
  • PMI, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Conference, including but not limited to, the Conference name, themes, content, program, speakers, moderators and time.

 

 

Privacy Policy

PMI shall use information provided by attendees to send important Conference information. PMI shall also send communications to the attendee’s email address provided, about other PMI conferences and services; attendees may unsubscribe to these communications at any time.

Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property rights in and to the Conference, the Conference content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Conference are owned by or licensed to PMI or the Conference sponsors or speakers at the Conference. Attendees may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the Conference, in any Conference content or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the Conference for any reason without the prior written permission of PMI.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to vest in the attendee any legal or beneficial right or to any trademarks or other intellectual property rights owned or used under license by PMI; nor does the acceptance of these terms and conditions grant to attendee any right or license to any other intellectual property rights of PMI, all of which shall at all times remain the exclusive property of PMI.

 

Warranties and Liability

  • By signing up for and attending the Conference, attendees warrant that all registration information submitted by them to PMI for participation in Conference is true, accurate, up to date and error-free. PMI reserves the right to refuse participation in Conference or take other necessary action against any attendee whose submitted information is untrue or inaccurate without liability or compensation to such person.
  • PMI shall not be liable for loss or damage caused to the attendee’s device(s) – both, hardware or software, caused during the use of their device to view the virtual conference.
  • PMI is not responsible or liable for any comments made by attendees or speakers in their personal capacity.

 

Force Majeure

  • PMI shall not be held liable for any delay in the Conference or failure to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions due to Force Majeure Events. ‘Force Majeure Events’ shall be mean any war, terrorism, riot, civil commotion, strike, lock-out, act of god, fire, storm, flood, sabotage, earthquake or by reason of any matter or thing beyond the control of PMI that renders it reasonably or practically impossible from performing its obligations.
  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, PMI is not and shall not be responsible and shall not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from any failure to transmit or receive or loss of application/registration information or loss of any other data due to network failure or internet failure.
