The two-day workshop is designed to give participants hands on experience in the Product Design process as well as exposure on 3D Printing processes and machines. Expect to come up with ideas, develop product concepts and even get a chance to 3D print your product at the end of the 2-Day Workshop.

 

This workshop you will enable you to gain a solid understanding and appreciation for systematic Product Development process and apply the skills gained to your projects and in your work. You will also learn the basic elements of free-hand concept sketching enabling you to express your product concepts quickly and easily. On the second day you will learn about 3D Printing and get to print your concepts live on a 3D Printer. Through the course of the workshop you will have lecture classes, hands-on exercises and group assignments.

 

The course is intended for Engineering Students, Product Design Engineers, Mechanical and Industrial Engineers, R&D Professionals and Design Managers. The course is also helpful for NID and CEED aspirants.

 

FACULTY :  Ratanjit Singh Sohal is a Innovation Entrepreneur & Design Consultant engaged in problem solving & value creation through creative design services & products. He has a M.Des from Center for Product Design and Manufacturing from IISc, Bangalore. Before starting his design studio he was a Product Designer at GE Medical Systems.
