Accommodation: At a basic home stay in Gokarna town
Travel: A push-back Mini-Bus DVD coach/ tempo depending on numbers
Inclusions:
• Travel, Tolls & parking, sightseeing
• 2-Days/2-Nights stay at our homestay in Gokarna town
• 3 Breakfasts
• Campfire (if it doesn't rain or not too damp)
• 1 Organizer cum guide (from Gokarna town itself)
Exclusions: Food/drinks/party and any other miscellaneous expenses that are not mentioned in inclusions above.
Here we go, the itinerary:
Thursday night: Start from Bangalore at 9 PM Friday night (4 pick up spots - Tin Factory, Indiranagar 100 ft Road, Koramangala Sony World signal, Yeshwanthpur Metro station), overnight journey!
Friday (Festival day): Reach Gokarna, check-in to home-stay, breakfast, participate in festival along with the locals! At Gokarna, the tradition is to visit 101 Ganesh idols on this auspicious day and take blessings! Let's see how many you can last ;-), eat a lot of "Prasada" everywhere, relax/play on the Gokarna beach in the evening, come back to home-stay, freshen up, dinner & a social gathering till late night!
Saturday: Freshen up, have breakfast and head out for the famous beach trek of Gokarna! The trek begins from Belekhan, through Paradise beach, Half-moon beach( boulder climbing at half moon), Dolphin spotting view, the most famous Om beach & till Kudle beach (we will take a dip here). Drive back to home-stay, take a nap or feel the warmth joining along for the camp fire, dinner & another social gathering till late night ;-)
Sunday: Start the day with breakfast, do a bit of shopping in Gokarna market, visit Gokarna temple if you like & visit the famous Mirzan fort, take a lot of selfies & start back to Bangalore by evening! Reach home early Monday morning.
Note: On a rare scenario, the beach police may cancel the beach-trek in case it rains heavily (Never happened till now). In this case, our Organizer will plan an alternate trek and/or a road-trip to another beautiful place.
